This is an open flywheel battery ignition rowboat motor made between 1917 and 1919. The model letter designations were year specific. For instance, in 1917 this model would have been a Model E. In 1919 it would have been a Model G. This serial number, # 12276, does not conform to any existing schemes that identify years by serial number. These photos show a 1920-26 gearcase but the cylinders are pre-1920 one-piece casting. |
