"In a time where it seems that the classic motor is becoming increasingly popular within the Antique Outboard Motor Club, especially with those who are new to the hobby and/or the club, this Chapter is intended to provide the rowboat motor group with a presence and voice in the evolving world of old iron collection, as well as create and encourage an active assembly of enthusiasts who choose to recognize and specialize in promoting the importance and relevance of the detachable rowboat motor under the umbrella of the AOMCI."

(excerpt from Volume 1, Issue 1 of The Rowboat Motor Journal, written by Chris Scratch, Founder.)

This chapter is not geographically based anywhere really. We have members all over the world. AOMCI needed a "place" to register with the chapter so our founder, Chris Scratch, chose his region.

To join, you need to be an AOMCI member first. Then contact Jack to be enrolled in this specialty chapter. Jack is currently the president of the chapter so he will sign you up.

Bill McIsaac sent in this photo of his display at a show.
Great impact to lure people into thinking about the history of outboards!

You might know Jack collects what he calls "proud men" photos (see collection). Well, this one certainly goes there, too!
