Take note of the subtle differences in the motors pictured here. I am not sure if the 1900 version should have had a skeg, I think so, but I could be wrong. You can tell a very early version motor by the top control lever. The early ones had the small KNOB on the lever at the top of the motor. Later models had the large KNOB there.
