I believe this is the early version of this outboard, the later ones having the red tank you expect.
This bluish green is very similar to the color on the Caille shipping crates however.
I have no idea why anyone chose to have this start in blue green and then change to red.
You can see that this Caille Model 14 is original paint though. A nice motor.
