Jack Craib's Caille Outboard Motor Information Pages

Caille Model 22
#B10317
with original crate

HOME

This motor was purchased by Jack at auction in Wisconsin in June 2008.

It has NEVER been used!

Jack believed it had been removed from the shipping crate before he got it. He could tell it had been removed because the cross piece that the motor is hung from was held in place by two nails. There had originally been 4 screws to hold the cross piece. There are also a couple of scrapes on the side of the motor that were already there.

His collection had eight other Cailles in shipping crates but this was by far the most original motor he owned.

as found at auction.
