AOMCI member and Aerothrust mavin, Richard Hiiuvain, explains: Working on a Pormo stationary Engine today I decided to remove the flywheel before moving it to the basement as these motors are a 160 lb beauties. If you notice inside the flywheel there's a spring which I believe acts as a damper. There are governer cogs. These open to push a rod that go through the block and moves a lever on the intake. |
