Archimedes outboard motor from about 1915. Two-cylinder, water-cooled gasoline engine on both sides of the cylinder housing a spark plug. Vertical rig, spoon, propeller and propeller housing. three-bladed propeller. Angular carburetor. Brass faucet of brass. Fuel tank located behind (under) flywheel. Flywheel plate shaped with grooves around the outer edge, and two hook-shaped notches for starter cord (strap). The flywheel marked around the edge: "Patent Aktiebolaget Archimedes Stockholm". Adjustable motor brackets with clamping screws. V-positioned braces.
Bought around 1930 by Erik Borg, father of donor, fisherman Nore Borg (1907-1979), Nyköping.
The outboard motor is included in the items collected by the master lot Karl-Gustav Sundström, Oxelösund.
Comment: In Swedish the word "aktersnurra" means "outboard motor". The Swedish word sounds like a motor :-)
