Evinrude Model D
# D 66659
This is what makes a Model D a Model D.
It is a stripped down Evinrude sold as a commercial motor, that means it is made for work, not play.
It has an unplated flywheel and a steel tiller handle similar to the type used on the earlier skegless Evinrudes.
This motor has the optional shock absorber.
It was sold without automatic reverse.Cost: $60 in 1915. Huge money!
