Jack Craib's Rowboat Motor Information Site Meteor

The Meteor engine was manufactured by AB Motor and Boat Workshops in Uppsala, Sweden. The engines that were manufactured were sold under different names, Meteor, MBV, Pilot, Prior and others. The engines were basically copies of Evinrude's single-cylinder engine from 1909. The Meteor name was used from 1913 and into the early years of the 1920s.
