Spinaway produced the "Wilcox" for Wilcox-McKim who added the motor to their company offerings.

According to Arlan Carter in his The American Rowboat Motor, pg. 292, (in a nutshell), Spinaway made several badge motors that had small differences from the branded Spinaway in some of the more easily changed details, like the exhaust manifold and tank.
The badge motors were: Wilcox-McKim, Clay, Nichoalds and Northwestern.

I do not know what catalog is offering the Wilcox here or the date. It does not appear to be a Wilcox-McKim catalog.

A knoweledgable AOCI member commented, "There is an interesting story about the battery ignition. The picture shows a flywheel that looks like a magneto ignition but it isn't.
(Another AOMCI member) has an example that looks to be a magneto but is has a coil, and points on a mag plate just like a magneto but no magnets! It also has terminals for the battery hookup on the plate."
