This tool kit came
with this motor.

The story, as told by the current owner:

This outboard belonged to the father of the guy I made the deal with.
His origin was Finland and from what I understood, he was quite a handyman, and with simple tools and smart thinking he could fix everything and make the most beautiful things out of scrap.

So he did with this outboard too. Kept it in running shape in his own way.
And that was what I found out when I had the engine in front of me and checked it with my own eyes. The big rudder with that shape was a mystery, on the photo's (I first saw), but it turned out to be made of iron, so it was homemade. Start knob ditto. And I have doubts about the prop.

Anyway, a really nice antique outboard and I'm happy with it.
