The owner of this Wright wrote: This motor has a cylinder that was cast to accommodate a separate gear driven magneto. It appears this motor originally was so equipped. The magneto mount is where other motors have their serial number. I have not found a serial number on this motor. This motor is missing the original exhaust system. The flywheel appears to be a combination of the original spokes and rim that has been bolted to a homemade hub. A battery ignition timer seems to have been fabricated from scratch. |
